ABOUT ZAP - PHILIPPINES

Zine Archive Project-Philippines is a DIY, Digital Library of self published zines by Filipin*(a/o) Zinesters. It aims to preserve zines via PDF files and/or print copies and make them available to anyone who's interested with zines -- archiving our zine his/herstory. Zines ranges from perzines to fanzines, art and literary zines, anarchist, queer and feminist zines, etc.

This is an incubator to promote the Filipin*(a/o) zine culture. A space to connect local zinesters and zine readers with each other which hopefully will lead to a community.

It is inspired by international projects such as The Queer Zine Archive Project, Zine Archive & Publishing Project Seattle, We Make Zines Community, The Barnard Zine Library and all of the spaces around the globe who works towards preserving and publishing zines.

Disclaimer: We are not a 'Zine Distro'. Should you wish to get a printcopy of the zines directly from its zinemakers please email us at zinearchiveproject.ph@gmail.com and we will direct you to the right people. We are anti-copyright, you can download and print copies of the zines for personal use, however, should you wish to mass produce it for distribution purposes please contact the respective zine makers/publisher's first. We are preserving our zine culture, not running a business. This is the simplest form of showing respect towards our zinemakers and valuing them for their works.
